She is able to provide quality care to patients of various demographics and fitness levels due to her experiences as a student, athlete, and service member. In the military community, many know Dr. Jackson as “Captain Vera” across the country. She has traveled across the U.S. for various military schools and assignments. She has held prestigious leadership positions that have shaped her into the logistics officer she is today, with significant experience as a Commanding Officer.

Prior to her military service, she taught “Kuk Sool Won” (Korean Martial Arts) to inner city youth around the Washington D.C. and Tampa Bay Metropolitan area. She obtained her 1st degree black belt at 16 years old and taught throughout her undergraduate studies while training to become a commissioned Army officer. She currently holds the rank of Captain.

In addition to her military and chiropractic careers, Dr. Jackson is a stay at home mom of two. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her children, running, Zumba, obstacle course races, and continuously studying to make herself a better physician, mother, and leader.
